BURN TREATMENT

Skin grafting is a technique used in reconstructive surgery to repair skin surfaces destroyed by burns. In case of massive tissue loss, a portion of the patient's healthy skin can be removed from a undamaged localization and cultured in the laboratory. The healthy skin grows into larger surfaces which can be implanted onto the wounded area to replace massive skin loss.
