ROBERT GARRETT (Hybrid Tea). A variety of American origin witli extra large, almost entirely double flowers and long buds; in color It is a soft rich pink, which illuniinates grandly under artificial light, and of exquisite fragrance; it is a remarkably healthy, vigorous grower, throwing up great numbers of strong shoots from the base of the plant; wonderfully free flowering, producing no blind wood, every shoot be- ing crowned with a bud. Good young plants, 20 cents each. SOUVENIR DE PRESIDENT CARNOT is a magnificent varilety. The floiwers are large, perfectly double, exquis- itely shaped, with heavy, thick, r,hell-like petals. The buds are superb—long and pointed like Nipheitos; indeed, it Is perfection io grace and finish. The flowers are borne on long, stiff stems, and are produced iu remarkable profu- sion; the color is new and exceedingly refined—a del- icate rosy blush, shaded a trifle deeper at the center of flower. The fragrance Is the proverbial Hybrid Tea odor, delicious and charming. The plant grows strong and j sturdy. It has no weak spot in its constitution. The foliage Is unusually large, heavy and handsome. In - every way it is a rose of remarkable merit. Strong three-inch pot plants, 15 cents each; larger plants in limited supply, 35 cents each, by express. SUNRISE. The most gorgeous rose of its class yet intro- ; duced. This has made a sensation in England and taken first honors wherever shown. In close bud form ' it shows the high, brilliant colors seen only in the Austrian copper, scarlet and yellow. As it opens the ~ color deepens, the scarlet turning darker red, the yel- |^ low to orange and copper, the inside of the petals •.
