The Commandant goes over. On the bridge of a Coast Guard-manned troop transport, Vice Admiral Russell R. Waesche, Commandant of the Coast Guard, lights up during his eastward passage over the Atlantic. The Commandant recently made an inspection tour of the port facilities of France, studying ways and means of keeping an unbroken, ever-increasing flow of war supplies for Allied forces attacking Hitler's German Citadel.
