Thousands of women gathered at Puerta del Sol, Madrid’s central square, to protest against the proposals of right-wing party VOX to end with some laws that provide for gender equality in Spain. Protests were held throughout the entire day in different Spanish cities under the slogan “Ni un paso atrás” which means “No step backwards”.
