Air Force Airmen assigned to the 729th Air Control Squadron fire blanks at enemy forces during combat training at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Oct. 24, 2013. The 729th ACS is currently in a mock deployment "Operation Raging Bull 14-1" which will help prepare the Airmen for future deployments. The deployment is held to help the Airmen from setting up a base, to defense techniques and holding off enemy forces, all while still conducting their primary mission: being the eyes and ears over a combat theater. The squadron is only one of three active duty air control squadrons in the Air Force.
