The description and thefigure might seem to imply a some-what complicated arrangement; butthe fixtures work very simply, andseldom fail to give satisfaction. Figure 258 shows a form of slat-adjuster intended to be operated bya key from the inside of the house without opening the window, slats are connected with an eccentric which is turned bythe key, so that the slats can be either raised or lowered asdesired.
