COMPRESSION FRACTURE, DRAWING

Representation of the silhouette of a 70-year-old woman afected by severe osteoporosis. The vertebral compression is very much pronounced with a tip over of the pelvis forward. We observe a dorsal kyphosis, commonly called 'witch's hump'. The vertebral compression is due to fractures of various vertebrae (generally dorsal and lombar), fragilised by osteoporosis. See images 1926407 and 1926807 for the evolution of the vertebral compression, 1926507 and 1926907 for the young woman, 1926607 and 1927007 for medium osteoporosis, 1926707 and 1927107 for severe osteoporosis.
