Man from CMF talks to feminist protesters for abortion rights outside Christian Medical Foundation in Borough, London

Feminist Fightback allege that the Christian Medical Foundation (CMF) has supplied misleading evidence to government enquiries on abortion and encouraged members without relevant scientific knowledge to misrepresent themselves as experts, as well as supporting the minority report from the Parliamentary Committee that called for a reduction in the time limit on abortions. Around 15 demonstrators, mainly women, set up a washing line on posts outside the CMF office in Southwark and pegged flags on it demanding abortion on demand, better childcare, and end to the stigmatisation of single mothers, improved access to free contraception etc. Placards also called for no reduction in the time limit for abortions and for women to make the decisions that affect their lives.
