(ConcludeU from page 117.) main store into the workroom and also in the front window, the whole making a picture that has elicited mucli com- ment. The demand for bedding stock at the store of the Art Floral Co. has shown no sign of any let-up and the same holds true for E. T. Boyce, who is also located near the market entrance. The Seattle Fern & Moss Co. notes a continuation of the shipping business which will surpass last year's total by a good margin, and also a pleasing in- crease in the number of customers. Melby's newer Shop is still featur- ing some fine red and salmon geraniums for replanting, with good results; the weather lias brought out more people who can be reached by a doorway dis- play. Rosaia Bros, are getting an increased cut of roses, and with this stock recent- ly developed a most attractive window of Ophelia, Columbia and Premier. There has been some increase in social (lecoiative work of late. The Rainier Floral Co. has been one of the heaviest sellers of bedding stock on the local market this year. Felix Rosaia has been using the front of liis store to display various plants and bushes for replanting; these items have proved popular sellers. The Orpiieum Floral Co. enjoyed an exceptional business, starting early in the week of the holiday, and reports a heavier outgoing telegraph business tlian at any other holiday of the present season. The Pinehurst Floral Co. has enjoyed a hotter transient business witli the re- turn of really good summer weather, and si)ecial window displays of flowers that would attract women passing by have l)eon profitable. The Bon Marche Flower Shop did a fine Mothers' business, this being one of the heaviest sales holidays since this shop has been established. Konnoy's made a ^ fine clean-up of stock for Mothers' day, and Will Des- mond had a good-sized extra crew on hand for this event. H. M. Columbus, Pa.—H
