DREER'S WONDERFUL LETTUCE This popular variety of Lettuce was originally introduced by us a few years ago, and has constantly grown in favor with those who have planted it, as it is suitable for growing in all sections and during all seasons. It is a crisp, cabbage-heading Lettuce, and produces heads which are extremely large, sometimes meas- uring 12 to 15 inches across and weighing from 2 to 3 pounds each, and because of its being slow to run to seed it is admir- ably adapted for growing during the hot summer months either in the North or South. The leaves are quite attractive, being very much crumpled, the large heart blanches veil, and the quality is excellent, being crisp and tender. Pkt., 10 cts.; oz., 25 cts.; i lb., 75 cts. BUSH MUSKMELON A feature of this Muskmelon is that the plant grows in bush form, making it desirable for growing in ths small garden where space for the vining sorts cannot be spared. The plant makes a vigorous growth, and is very productive, bear- ing a large number of melons, which are of about the same size and shape as Jenny Lind, with green flesh and a delicious flavor. A small area will supply an abundance of melons, as it can be planted in hills 3 feet apart, and will produce nearly double the crop of vine sorts planted on the same area.
