The Convention went again intocommittee, Mr. Warren of Man-chester in the chair, for the considera-tion of proposed amendments relatingto the Senate. After discussion byseveral delegates, generally favoringan increase of membership and changeto a population basis, it was voted,on motion of Mr. Dean of Danbury,to recommend to the Convention thesubmission of the matter to the Com-mittee on Legislative Departmentwith instruction to prepare and reportan amendment to such end.
