Football, basketball and the indoor track meet each in turn gave rise to the highest excitement,at least to those who participated, and in view of the fact that several promisingprospects for future varsity teams came to light, it might be well to say that thepresent season has thus far been very successful. The Frosh, it is believed by those who are deemed competent to judge,have the best chance of landing on top for the cup honors, for they have alreadywon the football and basket ball championships and placed second in the trackmeet. The Seniors, however, see rays of hope IF they win in baseball and mighty Juniors having won a place on the cup last year, have been truesports (as will be seen below) and have given some one else a chance.
