SCOTSMAN FROM FIJI JOINS : ONE OF 30 VOLUNTEERS - LAC Robert Fyfe, 31, a native of Stirling in Scotland, who went to the Fiji Islands six years ago as a member of the Government's Medical Department. He joined up with the on the Fiji Islands and returned to this country with thirty others who, like himself, hoped to serve as pilots. He was, however, disappointed since it was found not possible for him to take up flying. He is now a special duties clerk. Before he left Stirling he was employed in the local Health Department.
