The river is the Berach river. The Vijay stambh is an imposing victory monument ( Ms, 122 ft) located in the Chittorgarh fort. It has been built in the 15° century to commemorate the victory of the king Rana Kumbha over the armies led by Mahmud Khilji. The tower is one of the most emblematic monument of the Rajasthan state, symbol of the courage of the Rajput caste.
