Chambord chapel, Chateau de Chambord, Loire Valley, France. Its construction in the left tower of the castle begins during the last years of the reign of King Francis I and continues with Henry II. But it is only with Louis XIV that the works start again, directed by the First Architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart from 1684. However, it is suspended in 1685 after a last royal visit at Chambord. The chapel remain unfinished until the end of the 17th century,
