Pot-Grown Strawberry Plants. SELECT, NEW AND TESTED VARIETIES. V\ New Late Strawberry—THE TIMBRELL. This is probably the most desirable addition to our List of Strawberries for several years past, and is ranked by the Eural New Yorker, from trials made on its experimental grounds last season, as the most valuable of all the new varieties. Berries are large to very large, dark crimson and very firm. Many of the leading fruit growers of the country are looking to the Timbrell as the one very late market berry. We haven good supply of strong healthy plants of this variety, and offer it at § per doz.; $ per 100. New Strawberry.—THE MARSHALL. We give the originator's description of this variety :—Three thousand baskets of berries picked on one- third of an acre last year. The berries are of very large size, fourteen filling a basket. Color, very dark crimson throughout : fine flavor and flue grain, and a good keeper, which commends it for garden or market purposes: plants very vigorous ; stands 20 to 22 inches high : blossoms perfect : foliage sufficient to protect blossoms from the frost. We recommend it for a trial, and offer a limited stock of plants at § per dozen; § per 100. New Strawberry.—CLARKE'S SEEDLING. This is another grand variety that originated in the Yillamette Valley. Oregon, five years since, where it is now grown almost exclusively. Its superior qualities are uniform, round shape, rich red color inside and out, its remarkably fine flavor and great prolificuess, under ordinary field culture, producing 200 twenty- four quart cases to the acre. It is a perfect flowered variety ripening very early. We can recommend this most highly for a trial, believing that it will give full satisfaction. 50 cents per dozen: $ per 100.
