He has had hun-dreds of cases, and has been very successful. Byexercising caution and only undertaking suchcases as he felt assured were legitimate he hasmade a clean record with the department, freefrom any cloud of fraud or imposition. In 1882 .Mr. Spencer was elected Justice of thePeace, and has been re-elected at each succeedingelection, being the present incumbent, 1894.
