Cycle safety and awareness event took place in Bournemouth Square, reminding motorists and cyclists to ‘Look Out’ for each other and is part of Bournemouth Council’s Getting About travel programme; its aim is to promote cycle safety by encouraging road users to respect each other’s needs. Public could receive information on cycling improvements and urban cycling skills training courses, test their reactions, hear about the Highway Code, safety tips and see demonstrations of the importance of wearing a cycle helmet.
