A M67 fragmentation grenade explodes during live-fire training at Kraft Range, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 31, 2018. During the familiarization training, Soldiers assigned to the 109th Transportation Company, 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Army Alaska, threw live hand grenades to hone their proficiency. The M67 fragmentation grenade has a lethal radius of 5 meters and can produce casualties up to 15 meters, dispersing shrapnel as far as 230 meters.
