A David Austin English Rose, The Herbalist - An upright and bushy shrub to around 1m high. Flowers in clusters, semi- double, deep pink or light crimson, opening flat to show a good head of stamens. Scent slight. Free and continuous flowering through the season. Raised by David Austin in 1991, and named because of its similarity to the Apothecary’s rose, R. gallica ‘Officinalis’. Parentage: Seedling x ‘Louise Odier’ ( a Bourbon).
