The fields which a fewweeks ago were brown and bare arenow covered with a velvety green;the hills are cloaked; the woodlandshave become a picture upon which onecan not gaze without great admirationand wonder, for in a mysterious waythat which was but a short time ago,so bare and cold, has now been trans-formed into a wonderland. All around is the fresh, dainty greenof the unfolding leaves, while thebloom of the cherry trees gleams outpure and fresh in the sun light. Thedog-wood also has burst into bloomso profusely that the woodlands aredotted here and there with its mass ofwhite blossoms. How has it all comeso mysteriously? One week ago welooked and saw scarcely a bud, whenlo, the next week our eyes gazed upona profusion of white blossoms. Hereand there the delicate pink of the Judasblossom or perchance a
