A South German hand-and-a-half sword, circa 1510/20. A slender, double-edged blade with a flattened medial ridge. There are fullers on both sides in the upper fourth, and the Passau wolf marks with remnants of brass inlay. The quillons curve gently toward the blade, and have spirally fluted finials. The obverse side of the ring guard has a fluted node. Segmented grip covered with leather. Spirally fluted pommel with flower shaped brass top cap.
