A broken tree in the computer district of Wanzai sha. Hato typhoon hit the coasts of Southern China and the economic hub of Hong-Kong and Macau, killing 12 people and causing heavy material damages estimated at US$ billion. These pictures were taken in the residential and commercial district of Wanzai sha in Zhuhai, a coastal city on the border with Macau. It shows in a concrete way the scope of the destructions, but also the resilience capacity of Zhuhai inhabitants who immediately resumed their daily activities as soon as the typhoon calmed down.
