Richard Alvarez III, a native of Los Angeles, conduct maintenance on an F/A-18C Hornet aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
