Laboratory tripod stand. This stand is used in conjunction with gauze and a Bunsen burner when heating objects in a laboratory. The heat-resistant mat protects the bench from the heat of the Bunsen burner (not present). The gauze (also not present) provides support for what is being heated, and also helps to spread the heat evenly.
