Many times when flow- ers are delivered late, they practically are of no use to the customer, and the customer probably would rather have received poorer stock on time than the best stock too late. The florist who has the facilities to take care of his deliv- eries properly is bound to become busy, because people have begun to depend on him to get the flowers out on time. It is far better for a florist to turn down an order that be knows he cannot de- liver on time, than to lose the custom- er's confidence.
