Sandro Botticelli's Portrait of a Lady known as Smeralda Bandinelli () following a major scientific investigation and restoration project. The painting will be the centre-piece of a new exhibition, Botticelli Reimagined, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is presented here by the two lead conservators, Clare Richardson (right) and Catherine Nunn, with The Daydream End by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who was influenced by Botticelli, in the background.
