North China Race (" Chinese Clings").—The stone (Fig. 171, G) is globular, thick, its corrugations not at all promi- nent, cling, semi-cling or free; the frqit is large, almost glob- ular, and its flesh is fine-grained and juicy. It has a wide range of adaptability. Varieties: Belle, Lee Ray, Superb.
