A cased pair of percussion target pistols, Rongé Fils in Liège, circa 1840/50 Octagonal barrels with fluted midsection and the original high-polish bluing. Twelve-groove rifled bores in 11 mm calibre. On top of the barrels gold-inlaid inscription "Acier Fondu". Dovetailed front sights, adjustable rear sights. Grey case-hardened snails and tangs with fine tendrils engraving and gold-inlaid numbering "1" and "2", respectively.
