Take care of your lungs! You want to know why the AGMCO chimney is better than others ? Because it isn't a pile of ordinary building brick; it is built of AGMCO radial blocks specially made for the purpose. An eight-inch wall of AGMCO radial blocks is equivalent in strength to a twelve-inch wall of common brick. Molded with vertical perforations, as you see in the cut, these radial blocks are most thoroughly and uniformly burned, increasing, to a marked degree, their den- sity and strength. The perforations form a dead air space around the chim- ney, insulating the column of hot gases, rising on the inside, from sudden changes of temperature in the outer air. This results in a maximum draft under all conditions. Study the method of laying and bond. When the blocks are laid in the wall, the mortar is pressed into the perforations, locking them together with a mortise and tenon joint, as it were. This, with the breaking of the joints by use of different lengths of AGIMCO radial blocks, forms a most perfect bond, keying the structure in one solid mass from foundation to top.
