Remotely Piloted Glider for Mars Missions
A small, remotely piloted glider aircraft flies during a test flight. The Preliminary Research Aerodynamic Design to Land on Mars, or Prandtl-M, is a prototype of an aircraft that could one day fly in the Martian atmosphere and send its findings back to Earth. Students worked on the concept leading to successful flights.
