A German two-handed sword, middle of the 16th century Double-edged wavy blade, slightly broader at the point. Pronounced ricassos with slightly curved parrying hooks on both sides. An orb inlaid in brass on one side at the base of the blade. The other side has three deeply struck marks. Flat tapering quillons with large guard rings on both sides. Original spirally moulded grip with black leather cover provided with old fringes on both ends. Hexagonal pommel.
