The fourmembers of this family live contiguously to the homestead, andon the same street. The four residences form a fine addition tothe village. THE THURSTON FAMILY is represented among the precinct petitioners by Daniel, a mem-ber of the church, 1st March, 1741. His immigrant ancestorprobabl}^ was John, of Dedham, who came from England in theMary Ann, of Yarmouth, in 1637. He was a carpenter, thenaged 36, and brought his wife Margaret and two children, Thomasand John. He had in Dedham, Josej^h, Benjamin, Mary, andJudith. The children of John, some of them, settled in Medfield,whence came, 1, Thomas, of Wrentham. 1. Thomas married Mehitable. She died in Wrentham 11thAugust, 1692. He died loth December, 1704.
