Pubescent, or glabrate; stem erect or ascend-ing, straight, or the summit sometimes feeblytwining, 6-12 high. Leaves oval, short-petioledor the uppermost sessile, usually obtuse at bothends, sometimes acutish at the apex, and subcor-date at the base, 1-2 long, i-ii wide; pedun-cles i-flowered, longer than the leaves: flowerswhite, nearly 2 long; calj^x enclosed by 2 largeoval acutish bracts which are narrowed at bothends and not cordate at the base; stigmas ob-long, thick. In dry sandy or rocky fields or on banks, NovaScotia to Ontario, Manitoba, Florida and Ken-tucky. Dwarf morning-glory. Low or bracted-bindweed.
