Villa 'Hooge Hof', built in 1908 by the Nijmegen contractor Lammert Smit as villa 'Heideheuvel' on the, then still nameless, Paijensweg. In 1911, the villa, also by contractor Smit, was built again as an almost exact copy and under the same name on Sophiaweg 25, later owned by Joachimus (Chiem) van Houweninge (24/03/1859 - 22/02/1936), coal dealer, large landowner of the area on and adjacent to the Kwakkenberg and founder of the Villapark of the same name
