Again, a young man retires onaccount of a tobacco heart, but an offi-cer is particularly desirous to have himgo, so a re-examination discloses theifact ( ?) that the first report was too ex-acting, and that the man should go is an excellent soldier whom thesurgeon turns down on account of de-fective teeth, whereupon a young den-tist suggests that it would be a simpleoperation to gold-crown the molars,and the man would be all right. Happythought! The man is accepted, butsi^imehow the crowning is not done, atleast before the Culian campaign.
