A gathering at the Bethel Church, Bushbuckridge, Mapulaneng Province, South Africa in 1962. The modest building was constructed with blocks and has a tin roof. It was one of many churches and bible schools run by the Bethel Mission. Bethel still carry out missionary work throughout the world. The photographer was especially interested in Christian church, education and missionary projects at that time. This image is from an old amateur 35mm colour transparency.
