The Nuragic village of La Prisciona is located in the Valley of Capichera in Arzachena. The legacy of the Nuragic civilisation has left a wealth of ancient constructions and artefacts on the island of Sardinia. This culture developed from 1900BC and lasted until 730BC. Its long history has left over 7,000 nuraghes scattered throughout this Mediterranean island with probably more to be The site at La Prisciona has been partially excavated but it is thought that it holds many more secrets. Little is known about the Nuraghic culture and the stone artefacts are open to speculation until further archaeological evidence is gathered.
