This plane was flown at Langley by NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics - NASA's precursor) pilot Bill Gray during longitudinal stability and control studies of the aircraft. This fast twin engine design was noteworthy for its wooden construction and its versatility. Photographed on 1st April 1945.
