Tuberculosis (TB) drug. This is the drug isoniazid (INH), an antibiotic drug used to treat TB. TB is an infection by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It usually infects the lungs and can cause severe scarring. Infections can be diagnosed and treated at dedicated clinics. If a TB infection is not completely eradicated, then drug-resistant forms can develop. It is usually treated by a course of antibiotic drugs, often several taken in combination. Photographed in the UK.
