A Roman military dagger, 3rd century Iron dagger with iron scabbard frame and remnants of the wood panelling within the corrosion layer. Broken into three pieces but almost fully preserved. A small part of a suspension ring and another such fragment with a small chip from the scabbard frame are preserved. Five parts in total. Size, width, construction principles and, in particular, the crescent-shaped pommel designate the sword as a late form from the middle third of the 3th century. The item is covered with a thick layer of corrosion and incrust, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
