Chambers in the Hagar Qim Temples, near Qrendi, Malta.


Built circa 3000 BC., they are the oldest free-standing stone structures in the world, being older than both Stonehenge and the Pyramids. Note also the huge tent-like structure build to protect the stones. Unfortunately it is attracting birds.
