A garlanded Nandi statue and a sculpted stone statue at one of the temples containing the sacred Lingam at Talakkad in Karnataka. The Panchalinga Festival takes place once every twelve years at the site. For the remainder of the time the temples remain buried under sand. The temples are swept clean shortly before the festival begins.
