The Toll House is a grade II listed building since 1971,the upper storey is faced with weatherboarding and on the seaward side is a lookout tower at the top floor level,their are several plaques around the building plus a life size oak statue of St. is also a bell which was used to summon the gate is now a self catering cottage which sleeps six people
