Calla lilies, how- ever, helped out as a substitute. Some fine yellow daisies, as well as calen- dulas, were in the market and moved out rapidly. Pussy willows are also one of the important factors at this time. Stevia of the best quality was in the market last week. The supply of violets seemed to be rather limited and in many instances it was necessary to divide the production among the trade. Some of the finest cattleyas were also to be had and moved out readily, demand for American Beauties about as usual, and they moved fairly well. Plenty of lily of the val- ley was to be had.
