Then for our Illinois and Western customers we have a splendid stock of Ried's Yellow Dent, Silver Mine,Improved Learning and Champion White Pearl from Mr. J. H. Beagley of Ford Co., Illinois, the well known Corn specialist. This stock has cost us more than most other growers ask but is of extra line quality. All the corn we send out is thoroughly tested- Wbere it is desired we are always glad to give the results of our tests. Large (for this l\LIU O I CLLVfV LSblH I â latitude) and we do not recommend it for any locality north of us, but it is the best Yellow Dent we know of for Northern and Central Illinois and states of the same latitude. It is all right for Southern Wis- consin, if the season is favorable. Our attention was first called to it from the fact that it was the best corn exhibited at the Illinois State Fair in 1895. Reid's Yellow Dent is the corn that took First Premium as the best Yellow Dent from the Northern Division, then Sweepstakes Premium as the best Yellow Dent from all divisions, and finally, Grand Sweepstakes as the best corn in the show.
