The cedar boardwalk of The Brokenhead Wetland Trail. Shot in a torrential downpour. This self-guided km nature trail winds it’s way through a balsam fir forest, a white cedar bog and rare peatland known as a calcareous fen. Located Near Brokenhead Ojibway Nation near Scanterbury, Man., it is also home to 28 of Manitoba’s 37 native orchid species.
