Apollo 8 photograph of the crater Goclenius (right). On the left is a cluster of three craters: Magelhaens (upper), Magelhaens A (below right of Magelhaens) & Colombo A (below left of Magelhans). An unusual feature of Goclenius is the prominent rille (trench-like valley) that crosses the crater rim. Apollo 8 was launched on 21 December, 1968.
