Wyatt, general freightand passenger agent of the Louisville& Interurban Railroad, Louisville, 1910, has been promoted to thenewly created position of general super-intendent of the interurban system,which is a subsidiary of the LouisvilleRailway. Mr. Wyatt and Samuel Rid-dle, now vice-president and superin-tendent of transportation of the Louis-ville Railway have been handlina: jointlythe work that is now handled by R. H. WYATT Wyatt as general superintendent. Thechange, which was effective on April30, marks the close of his thirty-eightyears of active service with the Louis-ville Railway. His recent advancementis one of many promotions he haswon in the service of the railway andinterurban company. Mr. Wyatt, who is one of the veteransof the local street railway and inter-urban service, was originally employedby the late H. H. Littell, who organizedthe Louisville Railway. The new super-intendent has in his possession a much-prized letter, probably the last that ever wrote. It is in Mr. Littellsown handwriting and is in the natureof a compliment over the promotionwhich has just come to Mr. Wyatt. One of Mr. Wyatts first hard nuts tocrack as the new general superintendentwas in connection with the adoptionof daylight saving by Louisville,commuters favoring a schedule basedon daylight saving, while farmers andshippers wanted standard time.
