Description of male. Trunk compact, lateral processes in contact proximally or separated by very narrow intervals. Neck short; oviger base, as usual in the short- necked forms, occupying the gap between anterior cephalic lobe and first lateral process. Anterior width of cephalon seven-eighths of length. Height of ocular tubercle nearly twice the width, which increases somewhat towards the apex where the eyes are situated. A few setae near the distal articulation of each lateral process and on each anterior cephalic lobe. Proboscis equal to cephalic segment and a little shorter than scape, greatly expanded in the middle.
